A Bangalore based Instagram artist is trying to find a way to connect with the world through her art. Through her aesthetically pleasing Instagram feed she encourages people around to stop and enjoy life.

People are busy trying to keep up with their fast-paced life that they find it difficult to wait and enjoy what the world looks like. Our life has become all about working towards getting things that would materially satisfy our needs. We are missing out on the real essence of life. Times were fun when our mom shouted at us for scribbling on the wall when we loved spending our time on the playground and when we sang songs at the top of our voice enjoying it knowing we are not good. Life gives us various options to express what we feel like while enjoying it. And painting is one of them. Today a number of Instagram artist are trying to make the most of the platform and bringing the world of art to life.

Leh Sketch Series 3 When our driver stopped at Hunder White Sand Dunes, I thought there was going to be no better view. But then again, I felt the same at each and every view point, it only kept getting better and better and much more beautiful than anything I've ever seen. Every moment, every view was spectacular and surreal. . Apart from sketching during my travels, I love to observe people - it's like your personal mind entertainment. The behavior, the attitude, the dressing, the judgement. Hunder was there perfect place for this - I had my sketch book, I had three hours to kill and there were loads of people. ? . We got in touch with Kaavya to ask about her love for travel and art and this is what she had to say, "Two of my most favourite things to do is to paint and to travel and combining them was the best way to express myself. When you discover a new place - there's a unique sense of happiness, joy and peace, which is what I like to capture through my art. I paint during my travel after I've come back, may years later when I remember those moments - it's my way of living and reliving those memories.

What started as a hobby 12 years back, has now turned into my profession of making, teaching and spreading the art. Along with a friend, I run an Art Company - House of Mirrah that focusses on bringing people closer to art through Art Tours, Live painting sessions and Art products".

Jew Town - A small antique market that was once the abode of several Jews. And because my friend @justanotherquirk's grandma (and ma) were from Kochi, I had the privilege to personally meet Sarah Cohen - one of the oldest living Paradesi Jew in Kerala/India. Even at the age of 96, she was charming, elegant and so so so hospitable (let me also add super cute and adorable). #8 Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2018 - Chinese Fishing Nets I need to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this pigment @Sennelier1887 Payne's grey. One of the few versatile colours that you can use to finish an entire painting without being overwhelmed. It's my new favourite "Cool Black" Another shoutout is to @Justanotherquirk, who I travelled with to see the Biennale ?
