12 Iranian missiles launched at the US military troops in Iraq in retaliation to the killing of the Iranian General. Tweeple share their concern on the Iran attack.
The US military troops in Iraq were attacked by Iranian missiles at their airbases. The two airbases, Irbil and Al Asad, in the west of Baghdad, saw a dozen missiles fired in retaliation to the killing of General Qasem Soleimani in the recent US airstrike at the Baghdad airport on the order of US President Donald Trump. Washington hasn’t issued a public statement with regards to the casualties caused by the Iranian missiles. However, Trump tweeted ‘All is well’ and stated that casualties and damages are under assessment.
All is well! Missiles launched from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq. Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now. So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far! I will be making a statement tomorrow morning.

The Iranian minister claimed in his statement that the attack did not aim to escalate any further war, but as a result of self-defence. However, this attack is raising concerns about a war between the two countries among the people.
Here is how Twitterati shared their concern on the possibility of war after the Iranian missiles attacked two US bases:
A lot is up in the air in the moment. With both the US and Iran now exchanging missiles, tensions are high.

#Iran launching its attack on US military bases in #Iraq. The Pentagon confirming 12 ballistic missiles. praying for all American service members there tonight. This is NOT a political moment — we must be UNITED in our defense and support of all American troops. #TrishRegan

#Iran is in ridiculous propaganda mode – Iranian State media is reporting that al-Asad airbase was leveled and 30 American soldiers killed. In reality, zero American soldiers were killed, though there are some Iraqi casualties. #Iraq #IranvsUSA #IranAttacks

As news comes in of #IranAttacks, our thoughts turn to the innocent people in the region whose lives may be disrupted by escalating conflict,&also to our expatriate countrymen&women in the area. India has good experience of evacuating our people if needed. Let’s hope it won’t be
