Janhit mein Jaari

Janhit Mein Jaari starring Nushrratt Bharuccha was released in the cinemas on June 10 and completely won over the Janta's hearts!

Janhit Mein Jaari is a simple yet very essential story about population control and educating women about safe sex. The film is helmed by Nushrratt Bharuccha who completely transforms into her character, Manokamna Tripathi aka Manu who lives in Chanderi with her parents, Purushottam and Manju played by Ishtiyak Khan and Sapna Sand. Not letting the pressure of getting married pull her down, Manu promises her parents that she'll only get married after landing a job. Even after giving multiple interviews, she finds nothing of her interest until she meets Aadarniya played by Brijendra Kala who sees her potential in marketing and offers her a job in his company, Little Umbrella.

However, the plot thickens when Manu is told that the company manufactures and sells condoms. Even though she was hesitant at first, keeping her mom's marriage deadline in mind and the hefty salary of INR 40,000 per month lures her into saying yes to the job. She even finds herself a loving husband, Ranjan played by Anuj Singh Dhaka, who totally supports her career choice, unlike his conservative family especially his strict father, Kewal played by Vijay Raaz who has an extremely orthodox mindset. Manu's struggle to make her in-laws understand the importance of her job and make everyone realize how there should be no shame attached to promoting and selling condoms is the film's main canvas.

Directed by Jai Basantu Singh and written by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Janhit Mein Jaari is a film that talks about the benefits of using a condom which is still considered a taboo topic in many parts of our country. The characters deliver some hilarious punchlines as well that help conveys the message of the film without being too loud or in our faces.
