Kaalidhar Laapata released on ZEE5 on July 4 and here’s what the Janta had to say about the film!
Directed by Madhumita Vijay, Kaalidhar Laapata stars Abhishek Bachchan and Daivik Baghela in pivotal roles. The unlikely friendship between Kaalidhar and Ballu played by Bachchan and Baghela respectively, is the heart of the film. As Kaalidhar grapples with his Alzeihemer’s, his cunning family hatches a plan to leave him at the Kumbh Mela. From one thing leading to another, Kaalidhar finds himself in the same town as Ballu and the two find solace in each other when the entire world felt like it was turning against them. Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Nimrat Kaur also play pivotal roles in the film.
The Janta found the film to be rather wholesome and Abhishek Bachchan seems to have garnered a lot of acclaim for this film. His performance felt rather vulnerable and one that tugged at their hearts, making it one of his career best according to the audiences. Meanwhile the story is said to be one that touches your heart and one that celebrates loss and love in this emotional ride of a film!
