The Summer I Turned Pretty’s highly anticipated series finale is out and here’s how fans are reacting to it!

Starring Lola Tung, Chris Brighney and Gavin Casalegno in the leads, the verdict for who Belly ends up with is here and it goes without saying the internet had a plethora of opinions!

Based on the novels written by Jenny Han, The Summer I Turned Pretty revolves around Belly and her love triangle with brothers Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher. Over three seasons, fans from around the world have been divided into two teams based on who they think Belly should end up with! With season 3 being the last and final one, the anticipation and expectations of fans have been through the roof since the past two months. Every episode and every scene has been dissected and discussed on social media. The Summer I Turned Pretty not only is a love triangle and a rom-com we didn’t know we needed, it also touched upon themes like self discovery, mental health, dealing with grief and recognizing one’s toxic traits. The show is also popularly known for using Taylor Swift’s music in the show and hence gathered a huge fan base among the Gen Z’s.

The final episode has the fans not only cheering and rooting for Conrad but also just letting the moment we’ve been waiting for since two months sink in. The reactions started pouring in on the internet as soon as the episode dropped. While most of the reactions talk about how ecstatic they are to finally see Belly and Conrad together, there were also some that felt disappointed that there was no dreamy wedding scene like we all imagined. Some also pointed out how Belly only had scenes with Conrad in the finale episode and they would have loved to see more of her with her family. The intimate scenes between Conrad and Belly to Taylor Swift’s Dress also seems to be a major topic of discussion amongst fans on the internet and rumours of a potential movie have already begun!
