Standing beneath the mistletoe with my ideal K-drama character and sharing that flawless romantic moment would truly take Christmas to new heights and I’m here for it!
Kissing under the mistletoe is a very famous Christmas tradition that signifies love and romance. Protagonists from K-dramas also fully stand for that swoon worthy love. Combining the two would just give the perfect moment I’ve imagined in my head at least a hundred times! Male leads from some of my favorite K-dramas definitely make it to this list for various reasons. They’re selfless, too good to be true, caring, and so hot! The whole world went weak in the knees while watching these characters on-screen and just like me, literally anyone would want to be under the mistletoe with them!
Despite coming from an elite background, Captain Ri is compassionate and helpful. He helps Yoon-Seri navigate her way out of North Korea and forms the most wholesome relationship with her in the course of that. His kindness will always make it to my list, no matter what!
Hong Du-Sik - Hometown Cha Cha Cha
He pretended to be all tough in the beginning but the way he melted for Yoon Hye-Jin was super adorable. He was not someone who could afford an expensive lifestyle but he still gifted her things that were truly meaningful and thoughtful. He's definitely a big yes for my list!
Choi Woong - Our Beloved Summer
A homebody and introvert by heart who only goes the extra mile for Yeon-Seo. A double check for someone who wears his heart on his sleeve
Baek Ye-Jin - Twenty-Five Twenty-One
Baek Ye-Jin loved deeply and passionately but above all, he had looks that could kill. I’d be under the mistletoe all day everyday if I could.
Gong Tae-Sung - Shooting Stars
Gong Tae-Sung was a superstar and being under the mistletoe with him would in fact be a celebrity moment for me.
Choi Kang-Ho - Good Bad Mother
He would literally fight the whole world for his loved ones and bring the evils of the society to justice. Also, Lee Do-Hyun as a lawyer in a black suit fully qualifies for this moment.
Jung Ki-Ho - Castaway Diva
He literally found Seo Mok-Ha from a deserted island after searching for her for 15 years and helped her build her life from scratch. Loyalty will always be one of the most romantic things ever and will forever have a place in my list!
Kang Tae-Moo - Business Proposal
A rich CEO who would love you an unconditional amount? Need I say more?
Lee Young-Joon - What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim
Young-Joon and his ‘aura’ would totally make me blush under the mistletoe!
Jeong Gu-Won - My Demon
With his powers, we could probably teleport to every pretty mistletoe around the world!
