The streaming platform has revealed the cast of Lust Stories 2 and shared a short teaser of the series which gives us a glimpse into what it brings to the table this time around!
Earlier today, Netflix unveiled the teaser for Lust Stories 2 which stars Kajol, Neena Gupta, Tamannah Bhatia, Vijay Verma, Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi, Amruta Subhansh, Tillatome Shome and Kumud Mishra. Just like its Emmy nominated predecessor, this part as well shows lust across all ages and gender and looks like it’s going to try its best to normalize the conversation around the still very taboo topic in our society. The series is again an anthology of four episodes directed by Konkona Sen-Sharma, R.Balki, Sujoy Ghosh, and Amit Ravindernath Sharma respectively.
The show is produced by RSVP and Flying Unicorn Entertainment. It would be exciting to see these actors and actresses, some of whom are literal veterans of the industry, be a part of a story that tells us that lust is just as natural of an emotion as happiness, sadness or anger. You can see Neena Gupta, who plays the role of an old woman, speak about sex so casually and say, "Is your birth the result of a nonsensical act?" and that in itself makes you intrigued towards the story. Lust Stories 2 will be available to stream on Netflix from June 29.
