Sonakshi Sinha, Baadshah, Varun Sharma, and Annu Kapoor starrer ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ hit the screens today. The movie’s core theme revolves around the taboo and importance of sex education in India. And while it had created a good buzz pre-release, the Khandaani Shafakhana review coming in from the fans doesn’t seem to be too positive.
Khandaani Shafakhana is the name of the sex clinic that Baby Bedi (Sonakshi Sinha) runs in a small town of Punjab, and as expected, people are not very accepting of it. The film was promoted as one that talks about this important issue by bringing it into the comedy genre. After films like Vicky Donor, and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan that dealt with these issues with tact and humor, the audience had high expectations from this movie. But unfortunately, it seems like the film has failed to deliver. The Khandaani Shafakhana review on Twitter does not seem very positive, with some saying the only saving grace of the movie is Sonakshi (others don’t agree on that either).
