#BingeRewind: Power packed female performances that completely dominated our screens this year!

#LetsKetchup: 2022 has been the year for impactful female performances. There were so many stories told through a woman’s POV and that clearly won so many hearts this year!

From Alia Bhatt taking the cinemas by storm with her unforgettable performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan playing a negative role in Ponniyin Selvan-I, this year has given us such stellar female performances that we’re simply not going to get over anytime soon! Powerhouses of talent like Shefali Shah and Neena Gupta had so much content released this year which gave them the recognition that they truly deserved. Apart from Alia Bhatt,Kiara Advani is probably the only actress who has had an extremely successful year when it comes to her films. Actresses like Neetu Singh and Juhi Chawla made a comeback in 2022 and nailed their unconventional roles. Janhvi Kapoor stood out amongst the younger generation of actresses with her convincing performance in Mili. But it’s the regional content that gained the most attention this year like Sapthami Gowda’s captivating performance in Kantara , Amruta Khanvilkar in Chandramukhi or Kalyani Priyadarshan in Hridayam.
