Lust Stories 2 disappointed the Janta; says not at par with the prequel. Konkan Sen's story stands out!

Lust Stories 2 came out yesterday on Netflix and the tweets have already started pouring in about the anthology film!

The anticipation and excitement for Lust Stories 2 have been all-time high since the announcement. Given that Tamannah Bhatia and Vijay Varma also opened up about their rumoured relationship, the entire cast-directors list, and the massive success of Lust Stories at its helm, the film majorly opened up with disappointment for the Janta. There are definitely fans happy to see Tamannah in a new sexy avatar and impressed with Kajol's bold take with this script choice but the film that triumphed amongst all four was Konkana Sen Sharma's 'The Mirror' starring Tillotama Shome and Amruta Subash in lead.

On a personal note, there was much more expectation from the anthology as the first one brought about such a unique take and gave us so much for discussion. But it's often the curse of the sequel to being unable to hold up to its prequel; nevertheless, Konkana Sen Sharma never underdelivers! The film is an anthology of four different films directed by R Balki, Konkana Sen, Sujoy Gosh, and Amit Sharma respectively. It is currently streaming on Netflix!
