A Twitter-users group who call themselves as 'John Wick' hacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Twitter on Wednesday. They posted two tweets on the account which have now been taken down why Twitter. Reports suggest that the group has also allegedly hacked into Paytm Mall, which they have denied.
The account that has over 61 million followers was hacked by the group and posted tweets demanding for donations to a relief fund. The donations were also asked to be made in cryptocurrency. Although the tweets have been removed, the screenshots of the same have been doing rounds on the Internet.
Earlier this year, a similar incident happened where popular Twitter accounts were hacked with demands to make donations were tweeted. Twitter said that a thorough investigation is been conducted. The news, however, came after the popular gaming app PUBG was banned and this encouraged people on Twitter to share their funny memes on the same.
