This CID parody series by Neel Salekar and Karan Sonawane is enough to make you nostalgic.
Say what you want but Indian television shows keep us hooked to the screen and over the years, CID had somehow cracked the code with its long-running success. We remember sitting next to our TV screen and watching the show with our family and this show always kept us on the edge of our seats with its crime mysteries. There have been many other Indian crime TV shows since but nothing came close to the magic of CID. Though the show has stopped airing on Sony, we can never get tired of ACP Pradyuman's "Kuchh toh gadbad hai" or Daya breaking doors. Showing their love and admiration for the same, Neel Salekar along with Karan Sonawane, Saurabh Ghadge, Khushaal Pawar, and Mahesh Keshwaala has come up with his own version of the CID parody series where they manage to stir laughter with their quirky cases.
To be honest, storytelling is not an easy affair, and making it funny takes even more effort but these creators do it all in less than one minute. In just a one-minute-long video, they are able to capture the elements that CID was known for. With quirky crimes like finding the stolen password or the sneaker thief, the series makes us laugh while bringing back the memories of India's most loved shows.
