Season 2 of the sex comedy, Sex Education was just released and we can't help but say that it has 'hit the right spot'. There are a number of reasons why we love Sex Education season 2. Check it out.

Sex education was able to create an audience of its own with its amazing and creative content. A show that revolves around a teenage boy, Otis and his mom, Jean who is a sex and relationship therapist this show talks about sex and teenage problems surrounding the same. What makes the show so lovable is the approach taken toward the topic and the various interesting characters that add texture to Otis's life. Sex education season 2 was released on January 17th it is the best thing that happened last weekend.

These reasons made us fall in love with Sex education season 2:

Jean

This season has finally shown us more of this amazing talent, Gillian Anderson, playing Otis's mother. The sex and relationship therapist who is known to only have casual relations with men is seen in a more complicated relationship. A parent who decides to provide a solution to the school's bad sex education syllabus, to being in a secret relationship with her son's girlfriend's father, her character explores the more exciting part of her life.

Marital Relations

The show highlights issues of marital relations. While stating that it's okay to want to enjoy sex for any woman at any age, it explains how speaking up and being open about your love is important for any relationship to work.

Raising the voice against Sexual assault

The show proves that it is not only about sex and intimacy but also about consent and sexual assault that is faced by women. The shows go on a different high when the detention of shows' girls becomes the essence of forming a strong women team that goes against all dicks because the only thing that is common among them is being assaulted in some way or the other.

Love triangle

This season the Love Triangle is not just between Ola, Otis and Maeve. The very cool and daring Eric who was once very doubtful of himself has found an increased sexual tension between two guys. Yes, two! He who is set back on knowing that the new french guy in school, who was able to turn heads on his first day itself is in love with him. What brings a twist is when Adam returns from his military school.

New characters

As it happens with every series, the Season 2 of Sex Education also saw new characters playing pivotal roles. This season has introduced 3 new characters- Viv, the super-smart student who helps Jackson with his studies. Isaac, the wheelchaired neighbour who has a keen interest in Maeve's life and the french guy, Rahim.
