Netflix’s Tudum event released the biggest news and trailers that the streaming giant has in store for us in the near future!
Netflix’s Tudum event went from being an online event to an offline event this year. It took place in Brazil and all of the major members from the Netflix family were present. Gal Gadot, Alia Bhatt and Jamie Dornan were the most talked about at the event and were one of the major highlights. The cast of Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies presented the first look of the film with a rather filmy performance on stage. Devi aka Maitreyi Ramakrishnan was also present along with her co-stars Darren Barnet and Jaren Lewis to discuss if she’s team Paxton or team Ben, one final time. Netflix showcased its plan for the upcoming years and unveiled the first look for its most popular and highly anticipated titles like Bridgerton season 3, Squid Game 2 and Stranger Things’ final season to name a few. It also showed a preview of all the Korean projects it has worked on and are in the pipeline for release in the second half of this year itself.

Netflix’s new action adventure which will become a part of the Grey Man and Extraction universe is the new Heart of the Stone trailer starring the wonder woman Gal Gadot, Bollywood’s wonder Alia Bhatt and Jamie Dornan. The movie will be streaming on Netflix on August 11.
Zoya Akhtar’s Indian take on America’s beloved Archies comics and the world of Riverdale finally unveiled its first teaser. The movie is set in 1960s India and everything from the costume, hairstyle and the sets looks super retro. The movie stars Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Vedang Raina, Dot, Yuvraj Menda and Mihir Ahuja. The movie will be coming soon on Netflix and the cast gave a short performance on stage from one of the songs in the film.
While we still don’t know much about the final season of Stranger Things, one thing that Netflix did confirm though was a new cast member for the series. Linda Hamilton of The Terminator fame will be joining the gang for the last and final season.

Netflix also gave a very short and brief first look of the live action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Without revealing anything at all, the only thing we came to know from the first look was the fact that it has a 2024 premiere date.

The teaser of The Three-Body Problem which is an adaptation of author Cixin Liu’s trilogy of books was released at the event and it looks like another phenomenal fantasy story.
Coming to the K-world, Netflix gave the first look of the second season of the popular Korean shows D.P. starring Jung Hae In and Sweet Home starring Song Kang. It also gave us a short glimpse into new K-dramas coming up this year. Like Gyeongseong Creature which will show us a brand new pairing of Han Soo-Hee and Park Seo-Joon, Ahn Hyo- Seop and Jeon Yeo-Been starrer A Time Called You, Park Gyu-Young’s thriller mystery drama Celebrity and Bae Suzy will be seen in a new drama called Doona.
