A pregnant elephant was fed cracker stuffed pineapple by unidentified people in Kerala which exploded in her mouth and damaged her jaw. She walked around the village and finally passed away standing in a river. We keep searching for monsters hoping they would be having the devil's horns on their heads. But look around you, the monsters walk beside you. This elephant was going to give birth 18-20 months later. Even after the elephant was injured, she did not crush a single home or hurt a single human being. She just stood in a river because of the excruciating pain and passed away without hurting a single soul. From anybody who throws stones at a stray dog to anybody hurting a living soul, choose one face. A lot of these animals trust human beings because they have been helped by them in the past. This is cruel beyond measure. When you lack empathy and kindness, you do not deserve to be called a human being. To hurt someone is not human. Just stricter laws won't help. We need a decent execution of the law too. Until the guilty are punished in the worst possible way, these wicked monsters will never fear the law. Though it's a difficult task, I hope they are able to find out the one who committed this crime and punish them accordingly. Artwork by Bratati.

PLEASE sign link in our bio? In another 22 months the 15 year old Elephant would have delivered a calf elephant, but she was was BRUTALLY KILLED by a local who fed her a pineapple stuffed with crackers in Kerala’s Silent Valley Forest, Palakkad, Kerala. She had strayed into the village hoping to get more food so as to care for her calf which was in her womb. Imagine how she must have suffered with excruciating pain, yet she remained calm and died with her standing face-down in the river. She was found by forest officials on 27 May 2020, and her murder took place 20 days prior to the same, yet no arrests have been made as yet! This is not the first time an elephant met its death due to explosion in its mouth, caused due to crude country bombs or firecrackers being used in snares to catch wild boars by locals afraid of vegetation getting destroyed. During April also, another wild elephant in Pathanapuram in Kollam district had died in similar circumstances. And not to mention the nightmarish videos of Dogs getting tortured that were being posted on Tik-Tok app for fun by the very same kind of inhuman beings! How is this nation and its stalwarts in law not burning with anger and sadness after such incidents?? With broken hearts and anger, we Animal Lovers all strongly appeal that SEVERE ACTION be taken against these criminals and that they must be booked under the charge of murder, as these criminals have clearly proven their intent to! They are not human beings and don't deserve to be protected by any law governing them. And just mere laws, arrests and jail term is not enough for any such perpetrators of Animals! It is utmost important that such violent crimes must be punished with equal degree of severity or worse, so that the consequences of such brutality towards Animals is feared by everyone!Else there is no end to such cruelty as the laws will easily be taken for granted!  Please unite with Nature and help us deliver justice to all her subjects - those, who have suffered gravely in the hands of such sick humans. They do NOT deserve to be a part of this society, or any, and not even this world. #justiceforsaumya #wildlifesos #wildlife @wildlifesos @wwfindia
