If there is one thing that is common on everyone's social media accounts, it is Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchnat's three-day pre-wedding bash. Here are all the highlights!
As soon as the invitation to Anant Ambani's wedding came out, it went viral because of the many themed and dress-coded events planned over three days for the pre-wedding festivities. So, this weekend was nothing short of a giant party that has given everyone the biggest hangover to recover from! As Dune 2, May December, The Zone of Interest, Laapataa Ladies, Dange, and other films were released in the theatres, all of our social media were also having a field day with the bombardment of reels and videos coming out from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding festivities.
Guest from the world over were invited to this 3-day sprawled across event, from Bill Gates, Marck Zuckerberg, Ivanka Trump, Sundar Pichai, Yasir Al Rumayyan, Sultan Al Jaber, Bob Iger, Larry Fink, Dr Richard Klausner, and so many more. And of course, our darling Bollywood celebrities and cricketers with their entire families, from Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Ranbir-Alia, Vicky-Katrina, Ranveer-Deepika, Sid-Kiara, Saif-Kareena, Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Ananya Pandey, Sara Ali Khan, Jhanvi Kapoor, and so many more were seen attending the various festivities.
We all joined the festivities from the comfort of our homes as we all scrolled down for various looks that the people attending adorned, from their airport looks to cocktail dresses to traditional attires. There were many designers looks to gorge our eye on from original pieces of Versace to Rhea Kapoors, and more! The Jamnagar airport was declared to be an international airport for the days when these festivities took place. Luxury tents were arranged for everyone's stay, and even a trek through Vantara was planned for everyone amidst the song and dance!
So many moments were created during this 3-day festival that it is hard to compile them all. But here are a few that stole away everyone's hearts! Rihanna came down to India with her entire team to kickstart the wedding festivities, and her performance was the talk of the town, especially her shaking a leg with Jhanvi Kapoor on Zingaat. Diljit Dosanjh called Kareena Kapoor our Rihanna or Beyonce, and a fun-dance interaction with her and Saif.
The three Khans came together to perform, and Akon made everyone dance Chammak Chalo with his performance. Arjit Singh, and Shreya Ghoshal came together to perform while other Indian singers like Lucky Ali were also seen performing. All the Ambani family members made various speeches during the 3-days, and we also saw bride-to-be Radhika walk up to the groom-to-be Anant as a melodious tune played on.
With all this and much that happened over the last three days, we must catch our breaths because this very heavy weekend kept us all busy in numerous ways!
