Sanya Malhotra starrer, Pagglait released on Netflix on the 26th giving people a weekend to binge. Let's see what's the Pagglait review according to the public.
The 13 days of chaos, rituals, and family drama with the whole 'kunba' after the demise of someone is the new narrative that is being explored extensively in the filmmaking business. First, it was Seema Pahwa’s 'Ram Prasad ki Tehrvi' now it's, Pagglait. This Umesh Bist and Sanya Malhotra film portrays how a family deals with the loss of a young soul and a young widow who has lost her husband. The trailer had everyone excited for the film, let's see if the Pagglait review reflects the same reaction from the public.
A large family, living in an old, sprawling ‘kothi’ in a North Indian town, is in the distress of experiencing the aftermath of the sudden demise of a youth. As conversations and grief amongst immediate and extended family members churn, the new ‘bahu’ Sandhya (Sanya Malhotra) is dealing with the shock or rather the lack thereof. She is not as devastated as one would expect a new wife to be. She craves a Pepsi, a packet of chips, spicy ‘gol-gappas’, as she scrolls through her social media accounts. While the presence of a young widow who will not, or cannot mourn starts spreading unease through the house there is a lot more that needs to be tackled by this large family and Sandhya.
The movie released on 26th March 2021, Friday. Considering Monday was Holi it gave people enough time to go ahead and watch this film over this long weekend. Other than Sanya many known faces can be seen in this movie including Shruti Sharma, Ashutosh Rana, Sheeba Chaddha, Raghubir Yadav, Shruti Sharma, Rajesh Tailang, Sayani Gupta, Jameel Khan, and Shareeb Hashmi.

That doorbell in #Pagglait is to die for. 🤭 If I may dare say, this is the equivalent of the Arth of our times -- relevant, poignant, inspiring & also visually stunning. @NetflixIndia

Her quiet presence in #Pagglait. The occasional wide smiles. The inexplicable shyness. The bubbling frustration. The crushing disappointment#SanyaMalhotra just aces every moment pic.twitter.com/qeDcHKghN2

Just finished Pagglait. The best Bollywood movie I have seen in a while and after Sir. The writing and story exploration was just top notch. The way they showed the whole scenario after someone dies and what it means for different people was fantastic.
