Panchayat season 2 starring Jitendra Kumar was released on Amazon Prime Video on May 20. Let's look at all the reactions from the Janta!
Panchayat season 2 takes forward the delightful story of the first season that won over the audience two years ago. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar, Panchayat is created by The Viral Fever (TVF). The extremely talented and everyone's favorite Jitendra Kumar returns as Abhishek Tripathi, the panchayat secretary. And of course who cannot love everything that Neena Gupta is a part of? She plays Manju Devi aka the Pradhan of the village and keeps us engaged in the story with her charismatic screen presence. Raghubir Yadav as Brij Bhushan Dubey, the Pradhan's husband gives a solid performance that really brings certain scenes to life. And Faisal Malik as Prahlad, Deputy Pradhan, brings warmth to his character and adds essence to this season.
Panchayat season 2 brings a new set of challenges for Abhishek Tripathi, be it incomplete village development work or the new opponent for the Pradhan's position. The Pradhan family and Abhishek go through all the nitty-gritty while facing some harsh realities along the way. Overall it's a humorous and realistic story about how the villagers always adjust and compromise to whatever circumstance they're put in.

What a wonderful show, great acting, a fresh story line. All the characters have their own story and there are no 'hero' 'supporting' roles.
