The highly anticipated movie of this year, Raksha Bandhan is directed by Aanand L. Akshay Kumar plays a gol gappa seller on the streets of Delhi who wants to marry off his siblings because of a vow he made when his mother was on her deathbed - he'd make sure his sisters were married and "settled" before he himself decided to get married. And his sole reason to live is to make money for the dowry for his sisters. The film was announced on Raksha Bandhan in 2021 and was released on Raksha Bandhan this year. Akshay Kumar has also called it the quickest film he has ever agreed to do. While some appreciate this film for the message it's spreading; there have also been talks of boycotting this one. Went to watch the film #Kartikeya2 yesterday, but there we came to know that the film was available only in telugu language and subtitles were also not there either in Hindi or English,then we watched #rakhshabandhan it was also a very heartouching movie,we enjoyed it fully!
Watched both #LalSinghChaddha & #Rakhsabandhan movies. Although both movies are made on completely different topics, I liked #rakhshabandhan more. Both Amir & Our Canadian (Akshay) has done great work in their movies

Just finished #rakhshabandhan it's an emotional movie but in a comedy way ..like all family drama serials ...all who likes tv serial will enjoy it ..but for me it's a no 2.5⭐⭐
