Haddi janta review: Nawazuddin Siddiqui wins hearts with his phenomenal acting

'Haddi' starring Nawazudding Siddiqui and Anurag Kashyap is 'a tale of love, revenge, and identity.' The film released on Zee5 on September 7, 2023. 

While Jawan is filling theatres across the country, the movie reigning on OTT this week is Zee5's 'Haddi'. As per the trailer, Haddi seems to be a crime and revenge thriller that revolves around the transgender protagonist 'Haddi' played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The official description calls the film, "A tale of love, revenge, and identity where Haddi, a transgender, moves mountains to join a gang of criminals." Directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma, the film also stars Anurag Kashyap, Ila Arun, and other credible actors.

Due to this stellar cast, the film is gaining a lot of praise from the Janta. However, Siddiqui has seemingly outshone every other actor in the film as social media is flooded with appreciation for his portrayal of Haddi. Almost everyone who has watched the movie seems to be in awe of the actor's talent. Many are even comparing Haddi with Siddiqui's famous and career-defining role as Faizal in Gangs of Wasseypur.

One wrote on Twitter, "Not gonna lie. Nawazuddin Siddiqui deserve a national award for Haddi what an actor yaar gus jata hai role mai."
