Directed by Fukrey fame Vipul Vig, Rahu Ketu also stars Varun Sharma, Shalini Pandey, Piyush Mishra and Amit Sial in key roles.

The makers of Rahu Ketu unveiled the trailer of the upcoming comedy, which hints at blending mythology with everyday chaos. Backed by Zee Studios and Blive Productions, the film is touted as a light-hearted entertainer exploring themes of ancient beliefs and contemporary chaos through humour. Starring Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, and Shalini Pandey in lead roles, the trailer opens with Piyush Mishra’s distinctive voice, introducing the audience to the mythological essence of the film.

As Mishra’s narration teases the buddy-comedy’s connection to folklore, setting the tone for a story inspired by traditional mythology while unfolding in a present-day setting, we are introduced to the key characters of the film. While Samrat is presented as an ambitious character who believes in shortcuts, and Sharma is seen doing what he does best - situational comedy and physical humour, the adventures the duo embark upon forms the core of the film’s narrative. The trailer then pans to Shalini Pandey, who comes across as a confident and assertive character, which also provides the film its emotional and moral grounding.

Speaking about the film’s core theme, Pulkit Samrat says, “Fantasy worlds have always fascinated me, so what truly excited me about Rahu Ketu was stepping into this colourful, chaotic universe rooted in comedy. Watching mythological ideas come alive in a fun, accessible way especially for kids and being part of that journey was an absolute joy.”

Adding to this, Varun Sharma shares, “The humour in Rahu Ketu is deeply situational and rooted in human flaws. We’re not just making people laugh, we're holding up a mirror, only with chaos, madness and a lot of fun.

Talking about her role, Shalini Pandey says, “Rahu Ketu has been one of the most fun journeys of my career. Vipul Vig has such a strong vision, yet he gives his actors the freedom to bring their own instincts to the table, which made the process incredibly rewarding. Working with my co-actors was an absolute joy, and Zee Studios and Blive Productions backed the film with so much trust and passion that it truly reflects on screen. I am excited for audiences to experience the film.”

Besides the trio, the film also boasts of an experienced supporting cast with Chunky Pandey offering his comic services, and Amit Sial grounding the narrative's madness with his depth and intensity. Not only this, the inclusion of Rahu-Ketu propels the narrative into a larger philosophical space, reinforcing the film’s central message of ‘as you sow, so shall you reap’. With its blend of mythology, comedy, and socially resonant messaging, Rahu Ketu hints at a cinematic experience that is thought-provoking and entertaining

Rahu Ketu is set to release on January 16, in theatres nationwide.
