Social Ketchup Ed, Mrinil Mathur Rajwani, sits down with the couple, Prableen and Rahul, to discuss a Two-State Wedding, Content & everything in between.

On our shoot day, the to-be-married (now married) couple walked in already swamped with calls, checklists, and the familiar pre-wedding madness. But amid all that chaos, there was something quietly grounding about the way Prableen and Rahul looked at each other, a shared glance of love, comfort, and unspoken confidence. What followed felt less like a styled shoot and more like a hangout with two people who know exactly who they are together.

Prableen is a creator and knows her way around the camera, but throughout the process, in her own way, she made sure Rahul, who swears he isn’t “a camera person”, was at ease. The result? Pictures where the couple is at their most honest, playful selves. Somewhere between poses and laughter, we joked that we’d unofficially trained them for their wedding day!

For our Wedding Special edition, we got the duo to spill the story of #PyaaRdostihai, play a few fun games, and share all the behind-the-scenes moments of planning a two-state wedding. What unfolded was a celebration of love that beautifully blended culture with content. When she talks about calling out size exclusivity in bridal fashion, it isn’t a hot take, it’s lived experience. When he talks about the responsibility that comes with people rooting for their relationship, it isn’t pressure; it’s gratitude.

A modern love story that didn’t chase perfection; it chose presence. And if the warmth we witnessed that day is any hint, #PyaaRdostihai is only just beginning to light up our feeds one honest moment at a time.

Excerpts from the magazine cover story:

How did your story begin? And when did you both realise this was it, that you’d found your person?

Prablee & Rahul: Our story began back in college, during a phase when I was actually with someone else and dealing with a year-drop, just one subject in civil engineering. A friend of mine shared his number, saying he might be able to help because he had some connections at the university.

That’s how we first started talking. Initially, it was strictly about academics, no intention, no spark, nothing beyond getting that one subject sorted. But when we met for the first time, something just clicked. The conversation flowed effortlessly, the vibe was easy, and we ended up getting along far better than we expected.

What began as a simple, work-related interaction slowly turned into a genuine friendship. We stayed friends for a long time, building that comfort and bond, before it eventually grew into something more.

Since Rahul isn’t from the creator world, how did he first react to what you do and the attention that comes with it?

Prableen Kaur Bhomrah: Since Rahul wasn’t from the creator space, what I was doing felt both interesting and unfamiliar to him. Honestly, even I didn't fully understand what content creation meant back then. I was making YouTube videos that barely crossed 500 views and had just started posting on Instagram. To him, it looked like a hobby more than a career.

But despite not knowing much about the industry, he was always incredibly supportive. He made sure to like and comment on all my posts, and he was genuinely proud that I was pursuing something creative alongside my studies.

Rahul, what’s it like seeing how deeply Prableen’s audience connects with her, and now with your love story too? How is it being a boyfriend, fiancé and now a husband of a content creator?

Rahul Yangaldas: It honestly feels very beautiful to see how deeply people have loved our story. It’s definitely challenging because so many people are looking up to you, watching your actions, looking up to our relationship, getting motivated by it, and even praying for a love story like this. And that makes you feel responsible for a lot of things. But it’s also a really good feeling because you get to reach so many people and show them who you truly are. If people are able to find positivity or hope through our journey, and if it helps them in any small way, then that feels really special.

Prableen, do you think being with someone outside your profession helps bring balance to your creator life?

PKB: I genuinely believe that being with someone outside our profession makes a meaningful difference. It’s not about whether it will or won’t work out, but when two people are in completely different fields, it creates a natural separation from work. When we’re together, we’re not constantly talking about work, and that’s been really healthy for us.

We actually tried working together once, and it quickly became clear that our styles are very different. We’re both strong, alpha personalities, so our opinions can clash. But outside a work setup, that same intensity becomes balanced. When I’m stressed about my work, he grounds me, and when he’s stressed, I can do the same for him.

The best part is that our conversations aren’t dominated by the same industry or the same problems. That space to disconnect and support each other is something I really value.
