From nostalgic memes making a surprise return to fresh, fun challenges, these reel trends made scrolling fun this week and you won’t want to miss them!

This week, the internet served up its usual mix of viral quirks, laugh-out-loud moments, and trends that had everyone hitting refresh. From old memes making a comeback after years to challenges that had friends competing, we saw some truly interesting trends on our feeds.

Amid the flood of fleeting fads and inside jokes, a few highlights managed to capture real attention. Here’s a look back at what kept us talking.

The “Hakla Shah Rukh Khan” meme

Celebrity-inspired memes are nothing new, but every now and then, one comes along and completely takes over our feeds for unexplainable reasons. Right now, that title belongs to the “Hakla Shah Rukh Khan” meme and it’s showing no signs of slowing down. Even though there have been reports of Shah Rukh Khan’s team trying to get it taken down, the meme keeps making its way back onto timelines. It shows a cartoonish version of SRK’s face slapped onto a comedian with a wild hairstyle, poking fun at his famous stammer from Darr

What’s funny is that this meme isn’t even new. It first popped up nearly ten years ago in a parody video, but thanks to meme pages, GIFs, and remixed clips, it’s suddenly everywhere again. And judging by the way people are sharing it, the internet isn’t ready to let it go anytime soon.

Tom Holland’s new Spider-Man look has the internet talking

Tom Holland is once again the talk of the internet, and this time it’s all thanks to his return as everyone’s favorite web-slinger. Over the past week, Spider-Man fans have been talking non-stop after a brand-new photo of the actor in his updated suit from Spider-Man: Brand New Day surfaced online.

In the viral snap, Holland is seen standing on top of a car mid-shoot, surrounded by what looks like a mix of crew members and an excited crowd. It didn’t take long for the image to flood timelines, with fans dissecting every detail of the suit and speculating about what it could mean for the upcoming movie. Safe to say, Spider-Man has firmly swung back into the spotlight.

Memes and Trends

The Neon dance trend

There’s a quirky new trend lighting up Instagram and literally. People are strapping neon-colored, glowing lights to their bodies and breaking into dance in pitch-black rooms. And the result looks hilarious and in a way that is just hard to look away from.

It’s absurd in the best way possible, and the joy on people’s faces makes it even more fun to watch. If you’ve got a party or a friends’ get-together coming up, this might just be the perfect excuse to grab some glow sticks, kill the lights, and enjoy this trend.

Arjun Kapoor’s 2017 interview clip finds new life as a meme template

Every month, meme culture finds a new muse, and this time, it’s Arjun Kapoor who’s at the center of the internet’s attention. Social media has crowned him the latest meme template, and the origin goes all the way back to a moment from the promotions of his 2017 film Half Girlfriend.

During a press interaction, a tiny, offhand exchange has now been immortalized online as the clip is making the rounds on the internet.

The Internet’s new stress-relief trend

Smokers often swear by the idea that a cigarette helps them relieve stress but recently, the internet has been fixated on a playful twist to that statement. “What do non-smokers do to release stress?”

The responses have led to funny reels, and the most common (and oddly wholesome) answer making the rounds is… blowing bubbles. The trend has become a lighthearted reminder that stress relief doesn’t always have to come from a cigarette. Sometimes, it’s just a bubble wand away.

Throwing a fit!

Another fun trend doing the rounds on social media is all about playful misdirection. It starts with someone explaining why they were late, blaming it on the other person “throwing a fit.” Naturally, you’d assume they mean the person was being difficult or causing trouble.

But here’s the twist! “Throwing a fit” here actually means showing up in an absolutely gorgeous outfit. The reveal flips the tone from annoyance to admiration, and that clever wordplay has people using it in reels to hype up friends, partners, or even themselves.

Cop chase trend

There’s a lighthearted “cop chase” trend making the rounds on social media, and it’s as fun as it sounds. In these videos, two people stage a playful chase to see if one can actually catch the other, with one acting as the “cop” and the other as the “runner.”
