On Saturday, 21st March 2020, 17 Jawans were killed and 14 were injured in the Sukma Naxal attack in Chattisgarh. The injured Jawans were airlifted to Raipur.
In the Sukma Naxal attack that took place on Saturday, in Chattisgarh 17 CRPF Jawans were killed and about 14 were injured. The bodies of the 17 Jawans that went missing were recovered on Sunday. After getting a report about a large gathering of Maoist, a team of 600 personnel belonging to District Reserve Guard (DRG), Special Task Force (STF) and Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA)- an elite unit of CRPF launched an anti-Naxal attack on Saturday. When they reached the Minpa village a group around 250 armed men attacked the troop leaving about 14 injured. These injured Jawans were airlifted and admitted in a private hospital in Raipur where two are said to be in critical condition.
