New Update
T. Natarajan

T. Natarajan started his ODI career on a tremendous note. He took his first international wicket in a match against Australia in IND Vs AUS, 3rd ODI series.

During India’s Australia tour, this 29-year old left-arm pacer took the wicket of Australia’s opener, Marnus Labuschagne in his third over. He bowled out Labuschagne when he was trying to pull the length delivery, but got a thick inside-edge off to stumps. With this Natarajan, Tamil Nadu bowler also ended India’s six-match-long wicketless streak in the first powerplay of the IND Vs AUS, 3rd ODI series.

T. Natarajan was given the name of “Yorker Machine” after his ruthless performance, especially in the death overs, in the Indian Premier League, 2020. He took 16 wickets in the matches played by the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The cricketer played his debut international match yesterday as a replacement for Navdeep Saini. At the initial announcement of India’s Australia tour, he was selected as a net bowler but later on got a chance to showcase his skill set in the T20 series. He was added to the Indian team in the ODI series as a replacement for Saini just a day before the start of the tour.

This wicket came as a huge relief for the Indian team and especially the bowlers as they have not been playing well in this series so far. Australia’s team already hold lead in the game with 2-0 against India. Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, and Ravindra Jadeja also scored big in the match yesterday and brought back India’s hand in the series. With an overall score of 302/5, India won the match beating Australia by 13 runs. This match brought the Indian team back in the ODI series where the Australian team was leading. Overall yesterday’s match was a much-needed win for the team.
