Something VERY special today because it's a topic v.close to both of us ??It’s also something we share every few months and will continue to do till this lopsided patriarchal world changes! EVERY single day, we get so many questions from teenage girls, grown women, young mums about leading a fulfilling life, especially as a woman. So I thought I'd share 5 suggestions (all dictums I truly BELIEVE IN & FOLLOW) in the hope that they might help some of you ☺️? ✨ 1. EDUCATE yourself as much as you can. It doesn’t have to be degree-oriented education. The point is to hone your BRAIN instead of honing superficials as this can empower you in so many ways ✨ 2. Irrespective of how little (or excessive) your needs are, strive to be financially independent. It ensures financial instability doesn't cloud your judgement when it comes to important decisions like when to travel, taking a gap year, or choosing a life partner! ✨ 3. Exercise your AGENCY. Always remember - you determine your fate by choosing your friends & the course of your life.Make sure it is in line with your beliefs! For eg we get many comments everyday about how "lucky" I am that Vid's a feminist. To be honest, luck has nothing to do with it! It’s a CHOICE I made. I wouldn't date anyone who wasn't passionate about gender equality, let alone marry him. So make sure you exercise YOUR agency and NEVER compromise your beliefs when it comes to the important decisions in life - it's the shortcut to happiness! ☺️? Of course, you don't have to get it right the first time - keep trying till everything fits JUST the way you like it! ?? ✨ 4. Be empathetic!Try to be the kind of woman other women look upto & are PROUD to call their friend.Never judge other women, slate them, or objectify them. Instead form meaningful friendships with like-minded women and work on EMPOWERING girls who might not have access to education. ✨ ✨ 5. Celebrate your quirks (they make you unique!), love your body, work hard to smash your goals, & RELISH life ☺️? ✨ ✨ THAT’S IT- 5 things I think can lead to a happy & fulfilling life. ???Hope this helps you & do let us know if you’d like Vid to do a “5 things I follow” too ?☺️

Freezing up. Avoiding things. Wishing it could all be over. Worrying about literally everything and making weird scenarios in my head. Feeling anxious. Heart palpitations. Having trouble sleeping.
