The Gray Man starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Dhanush released on Netflix on July 22. Here's everything the Janta had to say!
The Gray Man is an action thriller film directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who co-wrote the screenplay of the film with Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. It's based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Mark Greaney. The Netflix original movie united some of the biggest names in Hollywood together. The story revolves around Sierra Six, played by Ryan Gosling who is recruited by Fitzroy, played by Billy Bob Thornton, to become The Gray Man. The job requires him to work for the CIA and kill anyone who's a threat to the Sierra Program, which is an elite unit. While Six was on one of his missions, he encounters Sierra Four, who he was ordered to kill. But the story takes a turn when Four tells Six that he would be Sierra's next target when he gives him a medal containing compromising information on an encrypted drive. Six then goes rogue and does his best to keep this off Denny Carmichael, his boss' hands, played by Regé-Jean Page. When it becomes impossible for Denny to get a hold of him, he hires Llyod Hansen, a former psychopathic CIA agent played by Chris Evans, who uses every cruel method possible to capture Six. We also see Ana De Armas as Dani Miranda, who becomes Six's ally in the movie.
But what's been a moment of pride for most is seeing Dhanush play the Lone Wolf aka Avik San, one of the killers in the movie who hunts Sierra Six when Llyod Hansen puts a bounty on him. But Avik San is a killer with a moral code for reasons that are revealed later in the film. Overall, The Gray Man is full of intense action sequences with a larger-than-life story.
