Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor released on the big screens on March 8 and here's the Janta's verdict on the film!
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar revolves around Mickey(Ranbir Kapoor) and Tinni (Shraddha Kapoor), two free spirited souls who fall in love at their friend’s bachelor trip. They hit it off right from the beginning, have extremely great chemistry and fall deeply in love with each other on the trip. But once they’re back reality sets into their relationship and it leads to an unpleasant race of who breaks up first between them. The film also features Mickey’s close knit family who believe in living life king size. It includes Dimple Kapadia as his mother, Boney Kapoor as his father, Hasleen Kaur as his sister, Anubhav Singh Bassi as his partner in crime and bestfriend, Mannu and Monica Chaudhary as Mannu’s wife Kinchi. The whole gang together is a laughter riot and plays a pivotal part in Mickey and Tinni’s relationship and get caught up in their Jhoothi and Makkari.
The movie is directed by Luv Ranjan and is also produced by him and Ankur Garg. Most of the Janta believes that even though the first half was weak, the movie picks up well post interval. But Ranbir and Shraddha’s stunning outfits and how good they look on-screen is the one thing that remains consistent throughout the film. Everyone was happy to see a quintessential Bollywood rom-com after a long time and most importantly see Ranbir Kapoor back in a genre he is most well known for!

The conflict shown in #TuJhoothiMainMakkaar is the USP for me. Nothing about it is revealed in the trailer. The audience that loves those rants in Luv Ranjan films will enjoy the comedy here as well. Although that’s not my kind of comedy anymore. But I enjoyed the film experience
