The Modern Love title track gets a localized version

Amazon Prime Video brings to you a localized version of the title track from Modern Love, Setting Sail and it's all the more reason for love.

Having won hearts with its terrific second season a few weeks ago, Modern Love has once again given fans a new reason to love the show by dropping a localized version of its title track today. Directed by John Carney, Modern Love, the Original Series on Amazon Prime Video is a collection of stories about relationships, connections, betrayals, and revelations. Each episode showcases love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms, all inspired by true events from the beloved New York Times column of the same name. Apart from the stories, one thing that has stayed with the audiences is the title track of the show ‘Setting Sail’. The heartwarming song now has a localized version. Titled Setting Sail as well, the cover song is sung by Lisha Mishra and Zaeden with lyrics penned by Shlok. Rest assured that with its soothing vocals, the melodious song will make you fall in love all over again.

“Working on a new version of ‘Setting Sail’ was so much fun,” said Zaeden. “I vibed with the song almost instantaneously and the fact that it was a part of Modern Love - a show that I absolutely adore - was the cherry on the cake. It made the process all the more exciting and fulfilling - especially since I got to work with Lisa Mishra. She’s easily one of my favorite artists in India, we share a great rapport and just understand each other’s quirks- which makes working together super easy!”



“Working on this song has been amazing. The lyrics for the Hindi version were written by Shlok. They are just stunning,” said Lisha. “I love the intro line ‘Chaahe kaise bhi aayein mausam, Tum ho to aasaan zindagi’. I love this metaphor for weathering the storm together and of course kind of fitting between the greater theme of setting sail into the world together. I think it has such a really great theme of companionship and bonding and the dynamic between two people. I think it's beautiful, the Hindi lyrics have just enhanced that really strong message of love and a bond even more.”
