Animal trailer: Sandeep Reddy Vanga is back with a violent and obsessive love story!

Animal trailer: If anything, this trailer hints at another love saga starring Ranbir Kapoor but this time around it's about a son's maddening love for his father! 

Animal trailer: Going crazy in love has often been a concept that's interpreted as a person's love for his partner but this time around it's about a son's love for his father, a love that knows no limit. Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been a controversial filmmaker since his debut with Arjun Reddy and then its Hindi adaptation Kabir Singh. His perception of love has always focused on maddening, obsessive, darkly passionate, and violent and the Animal trailer shows us all of that just wrapped inside a bond shared by a father and son.

What is it about sons religiously seeking their father's validation? Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of a son for whom his father, played by Anil Kapoor, is a hero or a god. All his life he's been desperate for his father's attention and validation. But this father is too busy and negligent to give it to him. When the father is finally in need of him, the dutiful son stands tall and takes revenge. Over a solid background score, we see a son ready to burn himself and this world if anyone dared touch his father.

This three-minute thirty-second long trailer seems like a good preview of the entire film where a toxic relationship between a father and a son and an authoritarian and his followers is explored. With thundering and eclectic music that hits the dark scenes differently, violence that is bloody, and Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna, the Animal trailer leaves you intrigued to know more about what the film has to offer. While we don't know much, one thing is for sure - it has Sandeep Reddy Vanga written all over it! 

Animal is all set to release in theatres on December 1, 2023!
