Working on similar lines, just dialing it up and making it a love story, Dinesh Vijan's new film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the lead. The trailer shows us the twist in this love story which seems crazy but also fun!
An Indian guy wanting to marry an Indian-American is enough to give any traditional Indian family a shock, but here, Kriti Sanon is not just any girl; she's SIFRA, a super intelligent female robot automation. She can cook with two hands, dance by turning every bone in her body, and take things quite literally. Of course, Shahid Kapoor doesn't know at the beginning, but to his surprise, he still loves her even after finding out that she's a robot. Can you imagine wanting to marry a robot, though? That's surely bound to produce maddening chaos and a whole lot of comedy, which is exactly what the trailer shows.
Apart from Kriti Sanon being Dinesh Vijan's favorite, he also loves unusual comedy stories with a beating heart and a social message. This looks like a story that will tickle your bones while also trying to understand the new world of AI that we have entered into and how it will change things, even for love stories. Given the digital world we are living in, could it have been a better idea to explore falling in love with an AI? Maybe?
