War 2 trailer: Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani and Jr. NTR are back quintessential YRF action style!

The highly anticipated trailer for War 2 is finally out and action, drama and glamour go hand in hand as expected!

War 2 trailer: Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the trailer for War 2 is finally out and has created enough and more hype around the film. In the trailer, we see Roshan reprise his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal in the sequel but this time without his mentee, Khalid (Tiger Shroff). He will be seen battling Jr. NTR who plays a Special Units Officer and a ruthless terminator. Kiara Advani is introduced as Kabir’s love interest in the film but we soon see the duo in a high octane fight sequence.

The trailer also shows Advani in an army uniform which has the internet speculating whether she is Colonel Luthra (Ashutosh Rana)’s daughter from the first film. Given that Colonel Luthra is Kabir’s mentor in the previous story, it could make Advani’s character a lot more pivotal to the story than we think!

The trailer also reminds us a lot of the first film. From Advani stunning in a golden bikini, a song by the beach with the leading pair, to action sequences that make you nostalgic of many other YRF spy movies, the film seems like yet another quintessential addition to the same. Ayan Mukerji, who has directed popular movies like Wake up Sid, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Brahmastra, will be showcasing his directing talents in the action genre for the first time with this one and we cannot wait to see what the film has in store for us! With rumoured cameos by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh in the post credit scenes to link this film to Alpha, War 2 cements its anticipation amongst audiences as the big Independence Day release!
