Drum rolls! The vaccine for the deadly menace, Coronavirus is finally here in India. Indians are ready with pooja ki thaali! This week, the Indian government finally released the two Indian vaccines, 'Covishield' and 'Covaxin'. In fact, as per latest reports, India's first Covid-19 vaccination drive will begin tomorrow on 16th January, 2021. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced that he will launch the inoculation drive at 10.30 am tomorrow via video-conferencing. In India's first vaccination drive, around 100 people in the priority group will be vaccinated at each of the 3,006 vaccination centres. The priority group involves health workers, safai karmacharis, Army and disaster management volunteers.Also, along with these two vaccines, four other indigenous vaccines are also in the works.
Obviously, Indians are overjoyed about the event of vaccination and finally getting rid of Coronavirus. However, vaccinating a country like India which has such a humongous population is no easy task. Therefore, Indians on Twitter have come forward with suggestions and ideas for the vaccination drive. However, these are not decent management advices. People are advising the government to put the vaccine in pain puri, chhole and whatnot! As expected, the government has paid no heed to such memes.
