It truly is the season for awards! After the Golden Globes and the Emmys , the West is gearing up for the Oscars while they've already released nominations. Back home, the Filmfare Awards 2024 took place over the weekend. And there were quite a few fun moments from the award night! The award show saw a star-studded red carpet and many performances. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt dance to Jamal Kudu
Ranbir Kapoor took to the stage to perform the songs from his films TJMM and Animal. He brought out the massive gun as well. Tripti Dimri joined him for a romantic duet! But his fun interaction with his wife, Alia Bhatt, dancing to the tunes of Jamal Kudu with glasses on their heads, made everyone go gaga.
Karan Johar and Ayushmann Khurrana were the hosts of the evening
Karan Johar reprised his role of host from the couch to the stage. Ayushmann Khurrana, who goes back to his VJ days, joined him and both of them become the comical, entertaining hosts of the night. They even danced with Alia Bhatt on What Jhumka and Orry on Jamal Kudu!
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan performed on stage
Kareena Kapoor Khan performed to celebrate Gujarat Tourism. Kartik Aaryan opened the night of the awards with his eclectic performance, while Varun Dhawan danced with Karisma Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur. Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan also performed on stage.
Manish Paul had fun interactions with the stars attending
Manish Paul, TV's celebrated host, also came on for a while to entertain the audience with his fun interactions with the celebs. He handed Janhvi Kapoor a unique prop to dance with while grooving with Tripti Dimri.
Medha Shankar sang a song, Falguni Pathak performed.
Medha Shankar, who came to hand the Best Playback Singer (Male) Award, sang the melody of Bolo Na from 12th Fail, serenading everyone with her voice. Falguni Pathak also took to the stage to give a fabulous performance. The internet sensation considered to be a digital marketing genius, Orry was also at the awards.
