The new Panipat trailer was released today and people get a glimpse of an extravagant story of the past brought to the screen. The movie that talks about the great war of Panipat have Arjun Kapoor playing the role of Sadashivrao Bhau who was the commander-of-chief of the Maratha Sena and Kriti Sanon as his wife Parvati Bai. Sanjay Dutt plays the founder of the Durrani empire, Ahmad Shah Abdali.

Ashutosh Gowarikar who is known for his grand and extravagant depiction of history into his movies has done his best in the newly released trailer. People are loving the trailer and have all praise for it while some are questioning the choice of lead for the movie. They also couldn't help but notice the uncanny resemblance with Ranveer Singh's character from Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat.
